Timing belt or chain
I have recently purchased a S 2000 2007 have not arranged to have the car transported yet and looking at the mechanical maintenance I will have to have completed as the car has 30, 000 klm's or roughly 18,000 mi. I realize the valves should be adjusted and hear there is a update on the setting also I believe there is a timing belt not chain would appreciate confirmation on this and is it 90, ooo klm's it has to be replaced or 54,000 mi . I appreciate any answers to my questions . Thanks

The S2000 doesn't have a timing belt. It has a timing chain. It does have an accessory belt, which should be changed around 50K miles. It's a pretty easy job. Clever pivoted tensioner.
The timing chain usually does not need to be replaced.

As noted there is no timing belt.
Accessory belt gets inspected every 30,000 miles or 2 years. Replace as necessary. (No mandatory change interval.) There's a thread running today on this belt. Yours is fine, I'm sure.
Valve clearance should be set to the high (loose) end of the range. Checked my MY06 at about 40K miles and it was fine. My car is just a month away from being a MY07 so very similar to yours. Do the check regardless, there was a note here last week regarding very tight valves. You'll find the data elsewhere in the forum and there are YouTube videos as well. Tedious, but simple. $10 tool and $5 bent feeler gauges is all ya need. (Available, of course, on Amazon!) Your gaskets should still be good. Spark plugs have a slightly higher torque spec since new as well.
