I may be going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing that it's going to be hard to modify the car (adjusting the timing) without modifying the car.

In fact, the V-AFC would work a lot better if the timing could be modified in conjunction with the VTEC point. So if someone starts looking for this "device", the shizit would be something that could do the VTEC point, fuel trim and timing offsets (all in one).

I assume that Decarboniser was referring to changing the timing by rotation of the distributor - as in Bseries engines etc. - ie. no actual modification needed for an easy power gain.
However, the f20c is distributorless - so unfortunately you can't do this.
