I'd be interested to know Password's response to this ill fitment. Quite a few people including myself are having issues.

starbai

Remove the rad supports and tell me how it fits? You have them installed under and not over. That will cause the whole assembly to sit about 1/2 higher.

If that works, just cut the ears off the rad supports. that will allow them toi be installed on top of the CF instead of below.

Starbai...I got to get a pretty good look at a Password JDM intake installed on an MY06. He had similar fitment issues...a bit of rubbing on the hood. He suggests adjusting the hood latch up so the hood gives a bit more clearance.

ok

1. adjust the hood latch..

2. the sounds you hear is coming from the bar on top of this picture shown. (you can put a rubber seal to kill the brappppppppp sound your hearing.

3. before installing the intake put a soft rubber here or foam (circled) the foam must not be any thicker than a ruler. you can get it at any auto parts store. just get a flat rubber foam. maybe a seal type. (dont worry it wont melt)

4. push the intake down before you tighten the screws

5. just a little adjustment from the hood latch will make it fit.

Yes that could be true, but so far no one has told him anything other than adjust the hood latch...and this must be a common problem (installation or product wise) if more then one person is having trouble installing this particular intake.

yes i just did on step 4.

its not that hard to install the intake. a little adjustment on the intake will do.

you have to adjust the intake and the latch at the same time.

its a little difficult to explain but thats how close i can explain.
