Ticking from Windshield Header
I just bought a 2000 S2000 (my second one). It has 66,000 miles and is in really good condition. As this is my weekend car I ALWAYS drive with the top down.
There is one thing that I can't figure out though.
As I'm driving I hear a ticking noise from the windshield header. It sounds like it is near the right end of the left sun visor (nearest the map lights). I believe that the ticking stops if I swing the left sun visor DOWN but wouldn't swear to that.
I'm not surprised if there's some flex in that area but what would make that ticking sound? How can I narrow it down?

Sounds major. Ill give you 500$ for it.
Haha, define windshield header? I am sort of lost on what you are talking about. Does it do it with the engine running or suspension movement . If its like a squeak in the interior could be the plastic moving. Maybe someone took apart the interior for some sick reason and put it together missing a few bolts/broken clips?
