Ticking idle

Ticking idle
i recently replaced my valves b/c they were bent. and i went ahead and replaced all the valves and one retainer. and i got a new head gasket, but it said it was for a f20. i assumed it is the same for the f22. i started it up and there was no noise. then when it warmed and idled it started to make this loud ticking noise. the car is MY06 with 53,xxx miles. i took it to honda and they replaced the tct under warranty. and it still makes the ticking noise. it only makes the ticking when i am at idle to 1500 rpm. if i am driving or rev beyond 2000 rpm it will stop ticking. any advise.

Does not sound good, I would be pulling valve cover asap and checking valve clearance, or for some other damage. Something is definately not right. Also check the timing chain and guides could be an issue with the chain tension. It sort of sounds like the chain is sawing through the cover. Good luck

I bought bad cams that weren't properly timed. So when I went to align them. All the marks lined up perfectly. Drove it for about 15 miles then the car just stopped on the freeway. Towed it back to a shop. Opened up the head and all the intake valves were bent.
