thumping from rear under a load
When i drive my car and say give it like 75% throttle i feel the car shake in sync with a thumping noise coming from the rear of the car. If i let off the throttle it goes away. Its more noticeable in higher gears going faster. The car is turbo making a deacent amount of power so im leaning to the diff. I never launch on it. Im just wondering if this is a common problem and a easy fix like i heard with the axle issue. Has anyone experienced this before?
If you ask me what i think, Im assuming that a section of teeth on the diff are messed up causing the thump but im just making this thread before i go ahead and get a diff built. Thanks

The symptom when lowering isn't thumping...just vibration.
But it's possible that the thumping and the vibration are independent. To get rid of the vibration, you simply need to swap CV buckets from right to left & vis versa. Or if you get upgraded axles, that will cure the vibration too. Axle spacers are a waste of money on the S2k, but may be useful on other cars.

^ yep, my car is shaking under load and it's the inner cv joints. there is actually a service bulletin on it: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=275218

yeah it is a vibration I described it as a thumping as it is much worse then a for say a wheel out of balance or something like that. Thumping seemed the best word to describe it. So if I swap the inner CV buckets (right to left) then the problem will be solved and it wont come back? I do not need to buy spacers?
