I'm about to do a Tranny Swap from Ap1 to Ap2.
Is it worth it to go a head and change the throw out bearing in the clutch while I have everything taken out?
The reason why I'm asking, is because about 15K ago, I had a new fly wheel put it, and during that time, I installed a new bearing then. So its only been 15K miles, and my clutch is smooth still, the bearing range from $95 to $140, so I don't know if I'm just wasting money or not changing it now.

Normally I'd say "yes change it" but if you only have 15k on it , I wouldn't bother. Save the dough. In a way the bearing you now have has proven itself, a new bearing couldn't be quite as trustworty without putting on the same milage.

I wouldn't replace it, but then if that turns out to be the wrong decision I'd be faced with a couple of evenings of work to rectify the situation. If I were doing the job for someone else and had to give a warranty, they wouldn't have a choice.

Whatever you do: grease up the sleeve it slides on (tranny side) AND fill the groove in the throwout with grease too.
Also, put a little grease on the clutch disk & trans input shaft splines.
