Hi folks, got the error got P2138 and it showed as a throttle position sensor fault.

I cleared the code and the problem went away but returned intermittently. Sadly the error code is back and seems to be staying.

I think its probably due to the TPS sensor identified below which i checked with my parts dealer costs about 130 USD to purchase.

Does anyone know if this is the appropriate fix? Anything else I need to check or replace?

Isn't the TPS riveted on? I don't know if its that easily replaceable

i'm trying to confirm to swop just the TPS but the part is sold individually so i'm assuming just that part can be replaced.

anyone have done a swop like that before?
