I really don't believe you're doing this, but if you are, then you may very well have fouled your plugs. Btw, why on God's green earth would you shift at 2500 rpm's and go WOT? This really can't be true. Hope you got a lot of laughs from all the responses.

the car doesn't like WOT at 2500 in any gear; just try to get your hands on a new-ish throttle body...it's a pretty simple/fast swap.

Perhaps a better suggestion would be to drive the car in the proper gear. 
Try to make things simpler, not harder.

different size injectors have different spray patterns that would cause those exact symptoms.
