Throttle Bog and hesitation

Throttle Bog and hesitation
Recently I had been having the throttle bog problem. Pull up to stop, clutch and the throttle drops below 500 rpm. I tried all of the obvious remedies that had been discussed to no avail. The other day I had a check engine light for an evap system code. Started smelling gasoline around the gas cap. Decided to go to the dealership and get a new gas cap on a hunch that this was causing my problem. $25 gas cap solved all of my throttle problems. For all of you that have cleaned IACV, changed plugs, MAP sensor, throttle body cleaning, etc,etc........go buy a factory gas cap and then send me $10 for relief!! Happy Motoring!
