Thanks for posting the fix. It's something you can easily overlook and when I checked I had about 1 inch of play and when I checked the manual it said 4-6 mm. Thanks

How tight should it be if it doesn't need to be tightened?!

Reason I ask is because when my pedal is pressed wot the cable is as tight as it can be.. But it has a little play when the throttle is closed..

A picture would help substantially

I don't have a picture but what you can do is take a ruler and put the end right up next to the cable. Then move the cable up towards the ruler, it should deflect about 4-6mm. Hope that helps, that's literally what I did to measure the slack/deflection.
