Thanks guys...I'm going to try to get it settled with my personal insurance, and, if I can't, then I will try to speak with a lawyer.

thanks,

brent
1. You have a aftermarket intake that is common for hydrolock
2. Your the one who drove in the water

and you may think of a lawsuit? Silly americans.

Yep, the sense of entitlement is strong with this one...

Don't worry, we're not all like this.

I have a Lotus 7 sometimes I can't order a parts in England. They will not sell the parts to me. They are scared of being sued for the liability...yeah by silly americans...hahahaha!
I don't blame them a bit.

Sorry...I'm not like that too. I valued my personal decision.

I think in Canada..when you sue someone and you lose, you pay the guys lawyers fee and other stuff?
That should be implemented to the USA.

You need 3 feet or so of water before you inhale the liquid.
More like 8". I had water over my hood from 5-8" (I did not measure it) and hydrolocked with a stock intake.

File a claim with your insurance putting the blame on the station and see what happens... you might get lucky.

Didn't see that in the first post. Good catch!

They aren't "silly" and you have to be a retard if you hydrolock a CAI. If you put it on your car you damn well should know what you can and can't do with it.

Drive in the rain? Yes
Leave my car outside for 2 days in the rain so water builds up inside the tubing? No
Completely submerge it under water? No

Those who do not own a garage should not be putting CAI's on their car.
