Ok, dumb question but does the spec pressure always rotate? Will the engine rev more free with the clutch disengaged like it would with a light flywheel? Thats the only thing that would turn me off.
Thanks,
Matt
The pressure plate rotates with the flywheel, they are bolted together. The disc is the connection between the engine and the transmission. The disc is engaged and disengaged by pressing the clutch peddle in and out.
I bought mine used you will have to call or Email your respected Spec dealer to get an exact price quote.
This has been the best PP I have experienced in this car and for daily driving hands down IMO your best choice.
Used with OEM disc 30% better grip than stock used with an ACT or Spec type street disc 70% grip over stock.
Like ACT, Spec uses the same pressure plate in all stage clutch kits. The increase grip force comes from the design and friction material used on the disc. The pressure plate is a little stronger than stock that is why you have a 30% better grip with the OEM disc.

Don't get the Act kit if you want it to be light. I got it and it is heavy and the clutch comes back very fast.
So that leaves me with Exedy and Spec.
Any differences between the PP or discs of each brand?
