Any thoughts on the Toda sports clutch and lightweight flywheel combo?

I think it is pricey for just a disc. You can buy an ACT street disc for half the price.
The flywheel is a little on the high side as well, but in the ball park on what

I have a light weight flywheel and enjoy it every time I drive. The engine response is quicker.

i had the TODA complete clutch set in my car when it was supercharged and it was a bitch! the damn thing is either ON or OFF!

on my way home from the tuner I stalled the car so many times the battery died

when it bedded in a bit I would still stall a lot on hill starts or any kind of upwards incline

I couldn't park the car without grinding this clutch and I'm sure thats not good

It would be a good clutch for a track car or if you want a big garage and don't need to park in the street or ever get stuck in traffic

I use the Toda FW but for me the OEM FD has been the best.

I have found that a new non-OEM clutch changes the clearances enough that a clutch pedal adjustment is needed. My install resulted in a on/off clutch action but a pedal adjustment restored progessive action.

WOW. Good thing I didn't just up and buy the set. I can't seem to find any transmission part made by SPEC that costs less than $500. Can you point me in the right direction?
I will do a search and send a link to you. I found there sight a long time ago but, have not had much luck of late.
I paid $100 bucks for mine used

I was at a meet last night and let a friend and fellow S2K owner take the car out for a drive.
He was surprised on how light the peddle was and how nice each gear grabbed even spun them a little in third gear
He has a full ACT kit and I drove his car and the peddle is very heavy.

Thanks man. I use my car as a dailly driver and definitely don't want a heavier than stock peddle. Lighter parts and better grabs is a plus though.

I have had more clutch kits in my car than most here For me the best combo has been....Spec light weight pressure plate, it is 4 pounds lighter than stock but has better clamp force Retail is about $200
Exedy OEM disc, it just works well and is long lasting about $100
AP1 OEM flywheel, only 14 pounds, when used with the Spec light PP there is no need to buy a $400 light flywheel
This combo is 30% better grip over stock if you use a Spec or ACT Street disc it will give you 70% over stock.

I am N/A and have gears, I,H,E. AND vafc tune. The OEM disc works fine for me.
Who sells that PP. have you a link?

thanks
