Yes, Make sure you run high octane. The bottom end has lots of advance and will ping if you have inadequate octane and get on it.

on vtec club vol 2 dvd...they tested the amuse ecu along with the amuse r1 ti exhaust and it made some really nice gains over stock ecu....

they were using a dynapack on a stock 01: due remember the jap spec s2k i think has 250hp instead of 240 US version

1. stock form it put down 222.5ps
2. only addition was amuse r1 single w/ resonator put down 231.2ps
3. amuse ecu addition put down 243.9ps....

the amuse ecu has crazy midrange torque gains and a lot of top end power gains

does anybody on this site have the amuse ecu??

also how can i capture the screen from the dvd???

wow thats amazing how they gained almost 10 hp at the wheels with the amuse r1 exhaust

btw if i remember correctly, the amuse s2000 just flatout hauled ass and the japanese drivers were confused saying things like " i don't know why its so fast!" now we know why (weight savings makes a big diff. too).

The Amuse car is roughly 100kg lighter than stock.

CF HT w/ removed soft top ~30lbs
CF hood ~10lbs
CF trunk ~10lbs
coilovers ~10lbs
mugen intake ~5lbs
header + R1000 ~50lbs
recaro spg seats ~35lbs
craft square mirrors ~5lbs

spare removal ~30lbs
air bag removal ~ 20lbs

Something like that.

power increase is noticable, but i think i'm really feeling the effects of the drop in weight. stock weighs around 55 pds and the amuse r1 single weighs 7 pds.

as i said the power increase is very noticable, but i never imagined a +10 hp gain at the wheels since i never dynoed it.
