Anybody know if a CF lid can be purchased seperately from Comptech?

There's another type of lid as well....no hood prop hole, but a recessed lid with a rod clip on top...

i bought the dampers, thanks for the link bro...
i got all the connectors.. put back in, firs ttime i didnt.. but cel didnt come on right away
took a min
i spillled a tad of collant on the alt which i hopedidnt cause a issue
ive spilled a few bit of things over my years with hondas on them and they lasted... not sure if the alt would even trip a code

where is the jump point like on most tegs and civics
is it on the pass side just like most hondas and is the paper clip the same way to pull the codes?

Give comptech a call or email them. (www.comptechusa.com)

They will usually sale you any individual part you need as long as they still make them.

Things I've noticed regarding my Comptech CAI:

1. The crappy weatherstripping they give you gets eaten alive after about a year of use, so buck up and go to Home Depot and spend $2 to get the good stuff from them. No vibrations from my CF lid.

2. Use loctite on the screws for the CF lid!! 2 of the 3 screws vibrated out and the lid started to rub on my hood insulation. When clamped down, it does not rub at all. Now I have one rub spot I can't get rid of

3. Attack the hood prop with a Dremel tool to get it to fit in the airbox.

I talked to Ryan at Comptech today. They would probably need at least 25 people to buy the lid with no cutout before considering it. It comes from the vendor that way.

I installed my intake last night and I really had a hard time getting the box in. It took two people. Had to have someone hold it down and push it back to get the screw holes aligned to screw it in. The problem is after I was all done, the box isn't aligned right. My hood prop won't go in or out of the box. I might get hood dampers or try an align the box again.

I bought mine used from comptech and the cf is fogged or something, but for $150 i can't complain.

Bah, I got the CEL. I thought I connected all the vacuum lines right too. I even check it again. I did lose some coolant but only enough to cover about 1/2 a t-shirt rag.
