Thinking of getting a Kaaz dif...calling out to Wesmaster
Looking for info about it. Yes, I have already been to the Kaaz website(they mention nothing about the S2000) and yes I have used the seach feature.
I am wondering where to buy(is Kaaz the only place?)
How much?
What other options are out there? (Mugen?)
Why a 2 way vs a 1.5 way?
The most imporant question is what happens to the final drive gears? Does the replacement unit have them, or do you donate them from the stock rear end. The reason I ask is because I have the J's Racing 4.44 final drive gears.
Thanks in advance.

I bought straight from Kaaz. Comptech is a distributor as well, but Kaaz sold it to me for cheaper (they claimed they were having a 10% off sale).
I paid $850 at the 10% off pricing.
Kaaz is designed to take more HP, as well as handle better. I'm not sure that Spoon or Mugen had drag racing in mind when they designed theirs.
It's actually an adjustable 1.5 to 2 way. 1 way is when it engages when accelerating and turning. That's what stock is. 1.5 is that it engages while accelerating and turning as well as sometimes while braking and turning. 2 way is that it's engaged during all turning, accelerating and braking. 1.5 is recommended if the car is going to be streeted. From what I understand this is set mechanically while the differential is installed; but I was never shown or told how.
The Kaaz differential is just the "pumpkin". It uses everything else that you already have, other than the pumpkin. So, you will keep your J's final gear. You might have to order a few Honda pieces for the reinstall, but nothing major (not even sure if you have to). I'm not familiar with the install having to do with good stock parts, I had all of mine replaced.

Jenner, if you want one, you could count me in with you if that will give you a better discount..!!
By the way, I heard 2 way is too harsh to drive on the street..!! but I am not sure about it..

Where did this investigation go???
Jenner?
Demonderrick?
I've got my own OEM rear diff problems I'm currently trying to work out with Honda....
In the event that I don't receive satisfaction from Honda America's rep (and I *am* hopeful at this point) ANY additional information/experience regarding the Kaaz unit would be greatly appreciated...
For one thing...can anyone give me a ballpark as to what the $$$ might be for the "Comptech S2000 Case Beefup Kit?"
Thanks in advance!
