crap... i get off at 12 and would be heading straight there...

Jose seems to think it could be the driveshaft...he thinks the u joint broke or something.. he says he has some vibration issues and stuff similar to mine..

this is just some shytty shyt man...

and i was gonna drive the s2000 to the dec 12 thing... i mean i have all parts so i may be able to but still... just another thing broke lol...

don't think it's the driveshaft or axles
could be CV cup
could be wheel bearing
initially i thought a few teeth from the ring gear might be gone but then you said there's a random vibration at highway speed...is the random vibration dependent on throttle input/rpm/speed? or does it randomly start and stop while throttle/rpm/speed are constant? that would let you know whether it's in the diff or in the wheel hub or CV joint

It was a driveshaft failure.. I'll let Allen explain it

Jose? your Screen name is Fatjoe?! DAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA didnt know that! lol

Ok.. THE DRIVESHAFT BROKE!!!!!!!! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN! lol

so today i went to the shop and my painter said i could use the shop and its tools... omg does he have all kindsa goodies!!! he has a bad ass impact wrenches and such.. almost took off Jose's finger.. luckily it didnt break it..

Anyways.... he said drive it around the building...i got about 7 feet then CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH WIIIIiiiinggg... i'm like.. AHHHH FOCK!!!

pushed it into the shop... lifter up the car and the FIRST thing i did was turn the drive shaft... BINGO...

i knew it couldn't have been the bearings cuz they were JUST replaced "twice" so i know what the sound was...

didnt think it was the axles, they only had 10000 miles on them and cant possibly see how they could wear in nor break especially since i dont drive like that...but again.. anything could happen..

didnt think it was the diff because of the symptoms wasn't matching alot of the symptoms people had...but you never know so i didnt wanna rule anything out.

it literally felt as if a joint broke on the car...

when i turned the driveshaft, the joint connected to the diff wasnt moving... the joint was only held on by the rubber peice!

my painter, who loves working on cars went under their and just used the impact wrench, unbolted all the bolts in like 5 mins and threw it accross the floor.. i picked it up.. and i can turn the joint over and over and i can feel and hear the crunching... nassssty...

kinda like eating grissle... *sp?*

luckily i had my original one, *who i gave to jose today and put that on his cuz his was going*

and i had one that was almost brand new...

maaaaaaaaaaan oh man did she drive like a new car... no vibration, no clunking... no nothing... smooth as a tig ol'e bitty...

that was it!

no tell me, after only having this thing in for aobut 1000 miles driving easy most of the time, that it goes when i know 700+ hp s2k's never have this problem lol

it was used with around 50k on it.. and i'm guessing cuz it was in an accident or something it probably broke something...

I'm very happy now... brand spanking new..

and even the Diff has no play and very quiet.. no whine..

thank goodness i'm back in the game...

my modding will commense as planned HAHAHA

Thanks Jose, thanks everyone for their input.

hopefully this thread could help someone if this problem comes for someone else

My driveshaft was binding and all.. geez Allen is turbo, and me in my NA car the thing was failing in a similar fashion.. I guess that says something about each one's driving style haha
