Could work, though if they're a titanium alloy this could be inconclusive. And if for some reason they are stainless, that isn't magnetic either.

I can't find any aftermarket retainers that are made of anything but titanium, so chances are...

it's hard to say for a load of complex metallurgical reasons that I don't understand. You don't necessarily have to replace them immediately, but in time they will deform. Whenever it's convenient I would go for AP1 springs and exhaust retainers, with AP2 intake retainers.

Looks like a supertech setup.

100% Definitely not stock retainers or springs.

they look stainless with that shiny finish, the last titanium ones I had were more of a matte finish, not that shiny looking. If they are Supertech like Billman stated then they could be stainless.

Titanium retainers are softer, people use them in racing setups because they allow the engine to rev higher due to lighter weight, but they are not stronger than steel versions, and will have a shorter life expectancy. If yours are stainless then they will have a longer life.

You could always take a grinder to one. Ti will spark white. I have a feeling you won't want to do that, though.

Makes you wonder if the previous owner(s) upgraded valves too...
