Default These car's like being ran hard don't they?

I usually drive my AP1 fairly easy maybe 9k once or twice during my job commute, but lately have been giving a more aggressive acceleration to her, and really letting the engine wind out, and taking turns a little sharper. The car feel's like its more peppy, and everything feels tighter since I have been running it harder the last few days. Just thought I would share my expierence with you guys, my friend had one and he swore he beat the piss out of this car and it was dead reliabe. I have to start giving this car more credit!

If youre going to pay for a s2000 you may as well drive it like one.

Sure doesnt have the trunk or gas mileage of a civic, i always say!

This car is a great fun to drive but as all the S2KI gurus will tell you first take it to a track/parking lot and explore its limits and yours because one day when you are giving it gas on a certain corner and enjoying the lovely feel of the car you will lift off and then be in a spin in no time. This is a great car meant for driving so drive the pants off it just remember to keep yours on.
Have fun!

I'm guessing the ECU is remapping to the aggressive driving which makes it more peppier?

Yes, I believe it does change setting slightly on driving habits.

you're driving harder and the car feels peppier? makes sense to me. Drive like a grandma and the car feels like a slug, lol

I've found my AP2 is noticably peppier for weeks after a very long highway trip. I think it cleans something out, maybe engine, maybe exhaust, maybe cat, maybe sensors... who knows.

I know some other car brands are like that too, esp. german: vw and bmw - they like it be pushed hard to stay spirited, and, you can hurt a bit them by babying them all the time.
