woohoo.....
Told you it would be cake from behind....If you still need the deep socket, go to home Depot....they should have something over there.....remember to bring ther other switch so you can do some trial and error fitment with standard sized sockets.....

I think the debate is that these mods only help when driving easy in cool weather. During track use, hot weather, or spirited driving the coolant temps stay above the OEM temps anyway.

i replaced mine with the spoonm had a check engine light on don't know why. did a obd2 check and it said cooling thermostat. changed it with a new spoon one and recet the ecu and its still on.

Did you make sure that the pin and the hump was alligned and that it was install to the top of the housing?

sure did. people were telling me i just needed to bleed the system better. every time i tried bleeding it all that came out was pure fluid no air.

Have you tried putting the OEM unit back in, to see if the CEL goes away? Maybe you have a defective sensor.

I dont think Bleeding the system would help. I would tend to agree with gernby on this one. Please keep us updaed.
