THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY ENGINE
TODAY, OUT OF NOWHERE, MY CAR STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND THEN THE ENGINE STARTED TO MAKE A WEIRD NOISE. I DROVE MY CAR BACK TO MY HOUSE WITHOUT PASSING 2000 RPM.
THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING WRONG. I RECORDED A VIDEO OF THE CAR WHEN IT IS IN IDLE, AND THEN I PUSHED THE GAS A LITTLE.
PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK IS THE PROBLEM. AND WHAT I NEED TO DO TO REPAIR IT.

Hey Batikan,
Sounds like possible valve train noise (ie, broken rocker, valve spring, etc) or maybe something even worse. Hard to tell exactly by just recorded sound.
Do NOT run engine until it can be professionally diagnosed or you may regret it. Find local Honda dealer with good reputation or independant if out of warranty (good rep also, ask around).

As said when this was in the FS forum I think it is rod knocking also.
You asked if it would cost 3+. I would say yes you can always find a used shortblock or something that might save you money but if you don't do your own work then it's gonna be the labor that hurts. That is figuring that it is rod knock.
Sorry you have a problem but try to turn it into a positive situation. if your looking at a supercharger this might be a chance for you to get a built bottom end and have some fun for your boosting days.
