Is there a escalated Honda Tech Support?
Hi guys, I'm not having any luck with the dealers and was wondering if there was somewhere to escalate technical questions to? I heard dealers have an escalation channel for problems they can't fix, can we get access to that?
I've been trying to identify this leak in my exhaust for a couple of months, and the dealers all say it's just valvetrain noise. I could be wrong, and wish I was, but it isn't normal for the engine.
My initial guess is that I'm on my own at this point. Thoughts?

i'm sure if there was a exhaust leak they would have found it
but for something as simple as that just start up the car let it run and check the area that u hear the noise. just stick your hand close to the exhaust 'dont touch it though" and check to see if u can feel the exhaust leak.

Yes there is a Tech group at AHM dealers can contact.
Owners can't reach them, dealer's must jump through some hoops to get an access code to talk to them.
The guys on the phone are going to tell the dealer to compare to another car, They can't hear the noise from So Cal. Just like trying to hear the noise online.
The same advice applies. Get the dealer to pull a new 05 in the shop with you there. Point out the noise you are talking about on your car, then see if it's present on the other one.
