doesnt matter 6 bolts on the bottom holds mine up perfectly no matter how much down force it makes it wont fall off unless you hit a deer.

I don't know what the fellow who used less than 1/2 the bolts used...

but i wish there was a lip protector like the OEM one.

i also recommend using the OEM bolts it comes with..had mine on for 2 yrs now on a DIY, and its still on there like a champ

Its too late since you already ordered the bolts but I went to Honda when it was time to put mine on and they wanted over $40 just for the 8 front bolts to put the lip on. So I went to O'reillys and got a 100 pack of 10mm bolts for $8 haha. So I have 92 leftover for whatever. But my point is you could save a ton buying hardware from somewhere besides Honda because apparently their bolts are made out of 24k gold.
