Default Is there a difference between Spring Manufacturers? H&R-Eibach-Hypercoils...

I was curious if there are any qualitative differences between performance springs across brands.
Is one brand better built than another? Weight, material, fatigue tolerance etc..

I am currently using Eibach, but contemplating swithing to H&R or Hypercoils.

Any comments are appreciated.

Is a Ford a Chevy? Of course there are differences, both in design philosophy and construction details. I think what really matters is which provides the best performance for the objectives you seek? Some companies are really good at competition stuff, but are not as dialed-in to street work. I would recommend identifying your goals, and then searching and asking for comments from those with similar goals. Example: Highest roadholding on smooth tracks, or better handling on real-world tarmac?

That said, I know many of the major car companies, US and foreign, work with Eibach. The Cobra 'R" was a Ford 300 unit race car for the street, and they went with Eibach, B&M shifter, TTC transmission, etc. Every Eiback spring i have examined or driven has been first-rate in construction and feel, although H&R is also very well respected by my gearhead buddies.

I like to see a company's catalogue - does it have a one size fits all philosphy? - for example, one spring for all the Fox-chassis Mustangs made since 1978?
