Mine is behind the driver's seat mounted against the metal of the chassis.

Holy shit how long is the harness in order to achieve that? I assume you ran the wires underneath the carpet?

The harness plugs in between the ECU and the ECU connectors. The emange comes with a wiring bundle as seen here:

It is long enough to reach tap into the harness from Jaker.

I ran the harness through door sills with all the other wires and stuff that's already there. The harness is completely hidden. The e-01 main unit wires aren't quite as long, and they're pulled taught right now...I will probably remount my e-01 to loosten that up a bit.

Just got mine back after a week at the tuners and it goes really well - at last. Although the Vortech supplied box seems to pull some timing they think that pulling some more for certain high load conditions and advancing below VTEC could improve the overall feel of the car.
As such I am now searching for 2 alternatives:
1 Some way to upload and alter the timing settings on my Vortech timing box which is already in the car so will be the easiest to do as its pre-wired
2 Find some way to get the e-manage to work outside the controlling the individual coil packs (eg tricking the TDC sensors like the Vortech box)

If anyone has had success on changing the ignition timing with the Vortech type box or the E-manage (or similar low cost solutions that are boost sensitive) then please post as I'm sure that others will face the same issue.

According to the dyno we achieved about 350 bhp at the crank and 200 lbs torque. All I know is that it goes well and sounds like a rocket!

Any news on ignition timing appreciated.

Just bought one of these. Any more news on the timing portion of the E-manage?
