if your car is NA, a test pipe wont give you no more than 2 hp...and if your not running an aftermarket ECU, u should reset the stock ECU to let it learn the new setup...either way you wont have a noticabe gain from it.

Mine rattles. I can only hear it with the windows up and music off. I searched to see if it was normal and read it was normal. I have stock exhaust and I felt no gains. Mine felt more like I lost top end. If I don't go FI soon, I'm tossing it.

The noise is probably from an exhaust leak. Did you replace the 2 gaskets? Did you tighten the bolts in small increments to squish the rear gasket uniformly?

I don't think mine is an exhaust leak. The best way to describe the sound is that it sounds hollow. My exhaust tone has not changed. Light throttle sounds deeper but WOT sounds stock.
Gernby, what type of exhaust do you have?

The metallic rattling you get is from the testpipe itself.
