test pipe question
#21
Got the Megan test pipe;stock OEM mufflers, and no resonator.
It will smell at idle,if you're sitting behind the car, nothing inside the car.
Much better sound.!!!
Butt dyno;I would say 3-4 H.P.from 4K and up.
ECU has nothing to do;you just get less restriction, because you removed the cat.
Nice Mod.

I have the j's header/spoon air duct/and T1R sparrow and it works good but after adding berk's test pipe it works even better...Sounds more agressive and better acceleration...Although it smells from standing at the rear but it's not that bad....i love it!

re: berk tech's pipe...
i'm having a slight issue w/ the way the bung is welded at this min... looking at the Innovative LC-1 WBO2 and the manual specifically says:
iirc the bung is ALMOST at the 9 o'clock position:
thoughts anyone?

Do Not install the Bung below the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position. Condensation can form in the exhaust pipe and permanently damage the sensor
thoughts anyone?
