your car will be perfectly fine, and should run as it always has. aftermarket ecu are usually installed for better hp gains, and tuning with bolt-ons, and most times bolt-ons with a test pipe. It's not necessary for just a test pipe.

well you'll be using the stock O2 sensor with the test pipe. Most times his will triger a cell light to come on, but there have been mods to keep this from happening. It will work the same way if you do the extra mod to stop the cell. The only thing that your car will do over stock with a test pipe is stink, , sometimes you may smell gas, but i've heard it isn't to bad with the S, and that it may happen sometimes stopping at a lght.

not too much worry about the smell. i had test pipe on my accord before but i didn't care at that time when the cell comes on and off.

i don't really care if the cell light comes on... i only care if the ecu can still detect the O2 sensor correctly.

when the o2 on my accord test pipe, when i take it out, it turn really dirty, real fast.

ya I wouldn'tmind the smell mch either. Your O2 should work the same, alhough it's more easily exposed to the exhaust gases so I could see why it would come out looking burnt up. Not sure if you have to worry about it misfunctioning do to it though. Hopefully others can come in that have had test-pipes for some time with some info.

If you like the smell with test pipe, I recommend you take a whiff of some differential fluid.
