Test pipe, cel, and electronic devices...the definative answer?

Here is the dyno result:
The red line is with the test pipe and the blue line is the cat.
Max. power w/ cat: 196.9 and 130.9lb.ft torque.
Max. power w/ test pipe: 195.3 and 132.2 lb.ft torque.
I lost 1.6 hp but gained 1.3 lb.ft of torque.
The graph shows a significant loss of power and torque before VTEC.
So here it is.
So far, I've put 96.3 miles on the test pipe and the CEL has not come on yet.

That is pretty disappointing. Did you monitor coolant temps and reset your ECU before each run? I really think that comparative runs for mods need to have unlearned ECUs, since the learning was all done with the pre-mod setup.

Thanks for the tip Harry.. you are right, it is all about price. Mine is fine until is gets jostled from a big bump, and then it throws a code for high or low voltage. It is just a pain to pull out the PC to turn it off, since I have gotten to the point that I won't pull the fuses.. learning the fuel trim takes too long for me.. the idle and throttle response sucks until then.
