Test pipe, cel, and electronic devices...the definative answer?
I've done a search and haven't been satisfied with the results.
I'd like to know definatively the following:
1. Check engine light: from what I've found, the light does NOT affect engine performance. True?
2. Electronic devices to turn off CEL: which ones actually work?
3. Has anyone actually measured any power gains from replacing the Cat w/ the test pipe?

the honda cat seems to be quite free flowing for a oem cat, nevertheless there should be some gains up top, most only a couple horses to be gained unless your forced induction or have some serious breathing mods done.

Matt,
Try the ECG simulator.
I would like to run the testpipe at the next dyno day. Will I lose bottom end torque with the testpipe? I don't need the extra top-end for street driving. Anyone with comments on the difference?
