Default Test Pipe

Ok, so I'm a little annoyed with my test pipe (Invidia 60MM) right now. It rattles when I'm in low RPM..like 2Kish. When I first installed the TP a couple weeks ago it was fine. Then a few days later I started hearing the rattle. When I first put the TP in I torqued the bolts all the way down on those 2 spring bolts (Sorry, dont know the technical name for them). The rattling got so bad I needed to do something about it so I loosened the spring bolts out about half way. It got a little better but the rattle is still there. Does anyone else have this problem? Do I have to live with it if I keep the TP in? Any suggestions on what I can do? I am assuming the TP is hitting the heat shield that's above it...

Thank you!

I'll do that for sure. I ran a search and people also suggested taking out TP and re-installing making sure it does not hit the heat shield. I thought it only fit one way but I'm to a point where I'll try anything. This seems to be a comon problem with test pipes. Thanks for the tip

Just make sure the testpipe or the o2 sensor is not hitting anything. Make sure everything is tight and nothing is interfering with it. That's all I can suggest.

I had the same problem... Make sure the tabs that hold on the heat shield did not break off... It happened on mine so I had a shop weld them back on....
