Actually, wouldnt exhaust gases contract as they travel the length of the exhaust? They should be hottest right as they leave the engine going into the header, so they'd be at their largest volume. As they travel the exhaust they would cool and contract. I dont have a feel for how much of a change this would be, since they would be traveling quickly through the exhaust system.

will a 60mm test pipe and 70mm bolt up to stock exhaust/header?? just curious if the flanges are all same size..
