Default Test pipe!

Does a 70mm test pipe exist, if it does please link it to me i cant find one for the life of me!

One more thing, is it more beneficial to have a 60mm test pipe with 70mm exhaust (dual) or have 70mm test pipe and exhaust. Im buying the invidia, and im wondering if you get more exhaust flow from starting off smaller to bigger?

Im getting megan header, invidia test pipe, invidia catback.....any input is appreciated!

If you have a 70mm exhaust, 70mm test pipe would be best. If you have a 60mm exhaust, the 60mm testpipe would be best. And yes it does exist, I'm not sure if invidia has one but mine came with my exhaust.

http://www.ultimate-racing.com/

They have one but its $175(*EDIT its 3" so approx 76.2mm).....I just got the invidia V3 delivered and got the invidia (60mm) TP as well. I was thinking the same as you WHY get a 70mm exhaust and a 60mm TP. I would imagine that an exhaust system is as stong as its weakest link....in this case the TP.

I just couldnt bring myself to pay $200 shipped for an 18" pipe...
Does anyone know if there is ANY advantage to having a 70mm exhaust w/ 60mm TP, or is it the same as just having 60mm exhaust/tp? Logically I would think if it has to push through 60mm somewhere along the line any larger after that is not doing you any good right? I guess header outlet size comes into play then as well because i dont think stock is even 60mm outlet is it? Anyone know?

Exhaust gases expand as they travel from the engine back the exhaust...so it's not needed to have a test pipe as large as the cat-back...will it help probably yes....BUT if the testpipe is 63mm and your cat-back is 70mm....it doesn't mean your whole exhaust will run like a 63mm....
