Temperature gauge going up and then down

how about when the temp gauge go down to 2 bars. It was on 3 bars like normal, but all of a sudden it dropped down to 2 bars. It happen for about 45 seconds or so, then it would jumped to 3 and then back down to 2 again. it happen to me a couple times since I got my car (almost 2 1/2 years) ago. thanks for your help.

Periodically mistakes are made.........It was not in his sig....I recognized the signs and assumed it was. Apologies accepted?
