Default Tein springs

I recently had my Honda dealer install Tein S-tech springs on my MY00 S. The new look is nice but I'm wondering if they mixed up the springs (back to front). The rear wheel well has slightly less space than the front. I would have expected it to be the other way around. I noticed that two of the stock springs are marginally longer than the other two. Any thoughts on this?

I have the original shocks.

At first I put the springs on for looks but I am very happy with how much better the car turns with these things on.

How are the springs with the stock shocks? I have heard the stock showa units can hold up for a fair amount time with mild lowering springs.

The car rides fine with the stock shocks...and it seems to corner much better.

i had the S-techs installed for 3 wks and made the same mistake your Dealer did. I mistakenly switched front to rear also. The front was definitely higher than the rear. S2's have the same diameter size springs front to back so it's easy to mix up. The S-Techs have a stamp on each spring that tells you FR, RR (Front Right, Right Rear, etc.) markings. It might say DL for driver's left.. i can't recall.

btw.. S-Techs are for sale! and just sitting in my garage.

Make sure you cut the bumpstop on the shock. Check the directions to know how much to cut off.
