^^Wish it was that simple. I have had this same noise going on 10,000 miles now. I changed out the TCT with a Moddified Part from Billman250, did the valves with patience of steel, and still, the same noise. I just changed my oil as well,(running Amsoil) So good luck my friend. SOOO many S owners have this noise, and I'll be damned if even Honda Tech's can't figure it out. Valve noise, Injectors, Timing Chain, all of that combined, who knows?

I just installed a Buddy Club Pro Spec Dual Exhaust, that seemed to make my "Ticking" a little quieter

Next time, blip the throttle a little in your vid. It helps tremendously with TCT noise.

I hear NO TCT noise at all (and I know the noise quite well)

My apologies for never updating everyone on the result of my journey with solving this noise!

It did in fact turn out to be the TCT, as after replacing the part with a new one that I ordered from HardtopGuy.com, the noise went away, and thus solved my problems!

For those of you looking for the part, here is the url to the one that I purchased...

Crap, I have that exact same noise. Would sandblasting that little worm in my tct make it go away or does the whole thing need to be replaced?

Sandblast, or buy a modified TCT. A new one will not last.

What exactly is a "modified" TCT.? Oil feed ports drilled larger? Springs altered?or is it a trade secret?

How long could one expect the blasted worm TCT to last comapred to the modified one?

Just figured I'd bring this thread back from the dead, as I just updated my original post at the top to include a before/after comparison video of the TCT install.
