tct problems please help

Default tct problems please help

Ok so i need some help here i have an 05 s2000 i have run mobil one its whole life at about 30000 the tct started making noise so i got a new one from honda changed the oil and all was fine noise went away everything was great then 3000 miles later it starts making noise again i take it back to honda they warranty it noise goes away for about a week then comes back so i change the oil again thinking this might have something to do with it no change now its as loud as ever and they wont warranty it again any ideas would be appreciated.

it has nothing to do with the oil, these are poorly made/designed parts. They should warranty it until the problem goes away for a reasonable length of time. This really sucks. Lots of people are finding that they have to replace them on a frequent basis and the parts are pretty expensive for what you get.

There is no reason why they should not honour a warranty on this, I would harrass them until they replace it in a satisfactory manner. I know it's not the dealer's fault it is Honda's fault, but someone has to come to the plate on this.

so do you actually think its still the tct itself or another problem trying to surface

It's the TCT.... just poor design.


If the dealer won't warranty call Honda Customer Service themselves and explain yourself in a calm manner. Let them know the dealer is refusing to warranty a part. They will take care of you. I wish I knew the number off hand but I'm sure it's easy to find.
