TCT Options (Need Help)
I've got a friend with a 2005 with 77k miles on it and its in a need of a new tct. I'm just trying to figure out what would be the best option for the new tct other then the oem, because the oem has the potential to do the same that the current one is doing. I currently have the InlinePro TCT and they offer me lifetime warrenty and they've replaced one already. And its starting to make some noise again. So i dont know if i can recommend him the inline pro due to my experience. And also i felt like they took the one i sent them and just put new parts in instead of sending me a new unit. So I've mentioned to him the Toda (does it require the toda chain to be used? ), InlinePro, and Billman. If there is any other tct out there that you guys that have experience with please share all your info. How many miles on the new one before switching to a new one? Price? And quality? Any info and feedback would be greatly appreciate it thank you so much.

you can clean it up yourself, that will work an last quite a while.. which is what i have done and do, however, it's a wear device.. Billman's is about the most R & D'd of anyone doing these.. my 2 cents..
no dis's meant to anyone doing these rebuilds..

Billman's is the way to go. He understands this car better than the average bear and has improved upon his TCT. (He actually coined the term TCT)
I spent the $250 preemptively and just replaced mine so I would never worry about it. Yes, I fixed something that was not broken but I knew would be. Very easy install. Did not even remove airbox. 10 minutes or longer if you want to have a beer. Did it last month.

Billman's - he provides a lifetime warranty and the man knows the S2000. Like cosmomiller, I did mine preemptively.
