TCT and oil
Ok so I have come to the conclusion that my tct has gone to hell. Today I took it out to have it sandblasted and decided to change the oil. The oil I currently use is Mobil 1 10w30,with a Mobil 1 filter. When I was inspecting the drain plug it had a ball like clump on it. Also when I cleaned the drain plug with a shop towel the material turned a grayish/ silver color. If i could send someone an email so they can post the photos that would be great.

This is the second time I drained the oil. BTW when I say clump I mean 1/4 inch nothing huge. Also the engine ran fine up until a couple days ago when it started sputtering almost like a fuel cut off. It mainly happened between 3k-4k rpm.

I am thinking that if one of the electrodes on the spark plug has eroded, at least in part, it may have been ground up in the combustion chamber and may account for the metal flakes you saw and the rough running you described.
