Tct noise first start up after oil change
During an oil change, upon the first start-up, I noticed that the oil light stays illuminated longer than usual. During this time, I can also hear tct noise until oil pressure builds. Does this cause wear on the engine?

Is that really TCT noise? I noticed it doesn't sound like that if I fill the filter with oil and crank the car a few times without letting it start.

Its a pretty normal scenario. Oil priming will eliminate the rattle. But...oil priming is probably pretty hard on the starter.

No harder than starting the car, I just go 2 cranks pause then start her up.

Ah, ok. Usually, oil priming from scratch means unplugging the fuel and/or spark delivery and then cranking for 15 seconds at a time until the oil light goes away.
If just bumping the button works, then that's good.

Because you drained the oil from the pan and pump.

not "dry" but yes . You gotta think about the oil that is stuck to the internal engine parts. Its still there but this is why most of an engines wear occurs at start up and having a thin oil at start up is important
