TCT
Hi
I just replaced my TCT today but it still making this weird noise
Video: http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a155/h22...rrent=001-1.flv
When i took out my old TCT, it kind of flew out and flew to the ground
Originally i only found the Tension Housing and the spring, so i figured it might still be stuck in the hole so i look through the maintanence hole and there was nothing left there so i figured it just fell somewhere. I put the new tensioner in and pulled the pin and heard the pop and rebolted everything down. To my dissapointment, when i started the car, i heard the noise from the video.
I looked on the ground for like an hour and within the engine bay and undertray itself and couldn't find those remaining 3 parts. Is there a possibility that there was still something stuck in the hole that maybe i missed?
Cause from one of the post earlier, i read that billman said the design of the tensioner made it impossible for anything to be left in there when you pull the old tensioner out
Please help
Thanks in Advance

It sounds like a pulley bearing...or water pump bearing. I'd need to put my head in the engine bay to figure out which pulley it is.
FYI...the TCT sounds like a diesel engine idling.

i would worry about the other parts that's missing.
the sound i would worry last.
otherwise your engine is toast if those parts are in your engine.

Or do i have to take the valve cover off to inspect it?
Thanks

There is no way the TCT parts can be in the engine. If the part all the way to the right in your picture came out then it pushed everything out along with it.
