Default T1R Exhaust Hanger just broke off for no reason

I was driving around and then when I got home, I was driving into my garage and noticed that the exhaust didn't sound right but I let it slide. A few hours later I went to go take some pics for a friend and I was still hearing it so I decided to check it out. The exhaust was waaay too much to the right and some of my bumper had already gotten burnt off onto the exhaust.

I looked under the car and noticed the right hanger on the exhaust canister that is welded on there had just broken off. I just need to get it re-welded on there but due to school/work I don't have much time to get that done so I just secured it with some wire for now.. but it makes a slight rattle noise which is annoying =X

Has that happened to anyone else..?

Here's some pictures..

I was told by another member that because it's titanium, it'll have to be welded on there using titanium or else it won't work..?

T1r titanium since when? good luck finding someone that welds titanium if it was. The T1r is stainless steel dude. That sucks that it melted your bumper. That happened to me with another brand of exhaust back in the day. That rattle is the most annoying thing in the world.

It's not titanium. How old is the exhaust? Suprised to see that considering the quality of t1rs!

Hm, if it's not titanium then I guess I can just take it to a muffler shop and they can take care of it for me.. right? I guess s2kmugen was wrong lol.

And the exhaust is 6 mo. old.

They can weld that, no problem. It has Ti tips, but the hangers can be welded easily.
