Don't worry about it. Check the oil level regularly and change at the next interval.. to whatever you like.

Okay, Thanks! That's what I was probably going to do, I think over analyzation is more taxing on me than it is on the car!!

I read a while back about the oil capacity being higher than the manual states....I tried to do a search on the subject, but the search feature doesn't work more often than not.

When changing oil/filter, the manual recommends 5.1 Qts. I changed my oil tonight, put in 5 qts and it reads low (yes I drove the car around to warm it up, yes I waited 5 min. before checking the oil on level ground). What gives?

i have notice loud valve tapping noise when i changed to 5-30 syn oil this weekend. this is my first oil chg on this car. the car has 3000 miles on it. also notice that if putting in 5.1 qt of oil the rev become slower. if putting 4.5 qt which will show on the dip stick about half between low and high. the rev is much more faster. just some thoughts and experiment that i did. hope its helpful
