Amsoil is hands down the best fluid I've used in my S!

I read where GM Synchromesh FM is no longer available. Is this true?

I agree with the Amsoil likers.Over the years I have used Pennzoil,GM(friction modified),RP,Honda( new & old) and Redline and I like the Amsoil best of all.

I like their stuff so much I use it in ALL my cars and that's why I became an Amsoil dealer.

If I can help you let me know.If you are not a Preferred Customer yet,be one thru my site and after your first product order of $100 or more,I'll refund you the 6 mos PC fee of $10.

Amsoil in the transmission has worked really well for me since my new clutch was broken in. Considering the small price difference over MTF and other positive reviews of it in our transmissions, it was a no-brainer for me.

On my then new '06 my first change was with Amsoil MTF. I didn't notice any difference so on my second change I went back to the Honda MTF. Based on the comments here, I think I may try the Amsoil again on my next change. Maybe my car was too new at that time to really note a difference?
Either way, I consider both of these fluids an excellent choice.

^I would agree that Amsoil wouldn't change too much in a new S2000 over Honda MTF.

2 qts in the trans. As for GMSFM, you can typically get it at a Cadillac dealership. For some reason now Chevy dealership stocks it, but Cadillac dealerships do.
