So is injector pulse a sign of worn injectors?

can't really hear it at idle, when i'm slowly accelerating, at around 3000rpm you can hear a fast tapping sound... its really faint, about 4000rpm the engine noise drowns out the noise... hopefully it is a valve adjustment problem?
if the noise gets faster when you accelerate (rev up to 3,000rpm or higher, etc)

its your TCT.

easy to replace...you can do a search and find step by step instructions or just download the s2000 service manual.

TCT costs about $100

Not to sound like a n00b ... but if I need the Valve Adjustment it should be as easy as walking into the dealership and asking for it, correct? My local Honda dealership likes to make things very difficult.

you just go to service and ask for a valve adjustment although dealers will usually charge around 160-170$

well i went into a dealership with a friend of mine because his was making a ticking sound too...we went in n said that we wanted a valve adjustment n they simply asked 'why?' told them its ticking n they said it sounds like the TCT n we said we just changed that a couple weeks ago ....n the stroy goes on.....

but yes just tell them you want a valve adjusment n be prepared for the 'other possibilities' and lecture they will give
