I've done the same thing before in another honda. All it does is blow a big fat fuse. Replaced the fuse and had no issues. The fuse was under the hood and was about an inch square, and if I remember right it was screwed or bolted down rather than just having blades that slide in.
He was right. It was a 100 volt fuse that was screwed down. Replaced it. All is well right now. Thanks for all the help guys!
