mixing and matching seats, and springs is always a bad idea.. i wouldnt put the stock stuff in the car, stock stuff is barely adequate, especially for a track car. Get the 80lb supertech springs and you'll be fine. Ferrea stuff for the most part has way more seat pressure than you need, also with odd seats you will never really know what the seat pressure is with out actually checking it. Stock is 55lbs, on an overrev thats scary..

The roller could have been damaged a LONG time ago and you'd never know it.

Yah, I was not going to mix and match the valve spring components. If going back to stock springs, I would put the OEM seats and retainers as well.

The valves are Ferrea. The spring kit is supertech.

Ok, your advice about the springs sounds good. I wouldn't need to purchase new retainers and and seats if I stay with supertech. Would just need to buy the new springs and swap em.

P.s. Supertech makes both single spring and dual spring versions in 80lb seat pressure. Which would you go with and why?

I must have miss read. I thought you said you had supertech spring seats w ferrea valves.

The beehive stuff is way better but impossible to get so you're stuck w the dual.

The cam holders are a 10 piece matched set. They do not correspond to the cylinders in any way.
