Swapping CV Joint bucket question
Ok, so apparently some people can do this without special tool, I am going to try this tomorrow morning. How do I pull the buckets out without removing the axles, just unbolt the 6 bolts and push it off the DIFF and the buckets slide out? Also how much Grease do I put in the buckets?
Also If I dont have to remove the axles why am I removing the wheel? easier to move the axle around I assume?

This is the thing - when I have tried to take sneaky shortcuts it has ended up costing me a WHOLE load of time.
Remove the axles and then swap the buckets.
If you do this you'll be done before you know it instead of fannying about trying to work around the real issue.

i kept the AXLES on, and now I know where the term, Blood sweat and tears came from, OMG what a pain in the ass
I ended up removing an alignment bolt on the lower control armm and when I put it back on I didnt torque it right, or set it correctly so now of course my steering wheel is turned to the left when I am going straight, causing some TOE issues I believe in the back ( I need an alignment anyway), however the process like most issues with my car has been a learning experience and as a bonus the car sits even in the rear and it is a tad lower on both sides
Oh yea vibration is completely gone
