swaping an f22c in an Ap1
I'm looking to get a f22c longblock to replace my f20c engine... Now the f22c engine comes literally with the block and head, and nothing else... Now would all the other parts from the f20c fit onto the new f22c engine? I'm talking about, vtec solenoid, tensioner, valve cover, ecu, intake manifold, belts, etc? Are there any issues with running an ap1 ecu with the f22c?

just get a stroker kit. its less complicated. and youll be able to basically choose what comp ratio you want.
but the f20 pcm it rev limited at 9ish when the f22 is at 8ish to keep engine stress down in the longer stroke motor. i would reccomend running the f22 pcm with the f22 engine. there are likely differences in the fuel delivery program too.

I did a swap of an ap2 engine onto an ap1 car
I mean the entire setup tho
It was pretty much straight foward we reused all the connections
hooked right up to the ap2 motor
Used aem tho not stock ecu cause the car was turboed
